My wee lad listened to the tales of battle, then read the number of dead in one spot marked by a plaque: 400 people, tracing the incised numbers with his wee finger, and was silent on hearing the fact they were killed by cannon fire. Then he took his wand and blew giant bubbles shouting “Cannonbubbles daddy cannonbubbles they wont hurt anyone!” If only, if only…………
